Mobile phone subscriptions are more expensive, but not on Black Friday – Black Friday deals 2023 as cheap as in 2022
Rising prices, interest rates and inflation: 2023 was not a good year for the economy. Many people had to tighten their belts this year. Many providers have also increased prices for mobile phone subscriptions this year (see our news from June and July this year). And yet, the mobile phone subscription deals on Black Friday are just as good this year as they were last year.
November is traditionally the cheapest month for mobile phone subscriptions. This is because many of us wait for November to change our subscription. This has created a deflationary model that leads to the biggest discounts around Black Friday. What many people don’t realise: Black Friday starts in the telecoms industry on 1 November, with some providers already having the best deals of the year live from 01.11.
Mobile phone subscription prices on Black Friday 2023 vs 2022
Here you can find an overview of all roaming deals from the most popular Swiss providers. Despite the general price increase, the subscription prices on this Black Friday are on average just as good as in 2022. Providers such as Wingo, and Sunrise have better roaming offers this Black Friday than in 2022. At Salt, the prices are almost unchanged and Yallo has increased them slightly.

Why are roaming offers particularly relevant for the Swiss?
