Wingo uses the Swisscom 4G/5G network

With its 4G network, Swisscom already reaches 99% of the Swiss population, more than 98% of whom can surf at speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s, over 90% up to 500 Mbit/s and 45% up to 700 Mbit/s.

Wingo has now access to the 5G network

In addition to a fast and well-developed 4G network, Wingo now also has access to the ultra-fast 5G network. You can benefit from 5G at Wingo for CHF 10.- per month extra. 

Wingo Customer Service

If you have any questions, Wingo's customer service is at your disposal. You can reach them in three different ways: 

Telephone hotline

You can contact Wingo customer service via the telephone hotline by dialing 0900 94 93 92. This will cost you CHF 1.5 per minute. The maximum fee per call is CHF 15. According to reviews the hotline is not well staffed. Therefore it often takes several attempts until you reach someone. In addition, the information provided by the employees is not very helpful. Wingo's customer service is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

What you need to know when cancelling your contract with Wingo

There is no minimum contract period for Wingo cell phone subscriptions. However, you do need to take note of the 60 day cancellation period. However, if you want to keep your phone number and transfer it to the new provider, you do not need to cancel your Wingo subscription. Cancellation is automatic when the number is taken over. You will receive the form for transferring the number from the new provider. If the subscription is cancelled first and the change takes place later, your phone number will be lost and can no longer be reactivated.

Cancel Wingo Internet subscription

There is also no minimum contract period for Wingo Internet subscriptions. You can cancel your Wingo Internet subscription by giving two months' notice to the end of the month. Send the cancellation to Wingo by mail or give it by phone.

Cancel Wingo Combi Subscription

There is no minimum contract period for Wingo Combi subscriptions. You can cancel your subscription at any time, observing the cancellation period of 60 days to the end of the month. To do so, send the provider a letter with the services to be cancelled or call the Wingo customer service.

What happens to your Wingo Internet subscription when you move?

If your Internet access is fiber optic, you need to check if your new address has a fiber optic outlet. If it does, just let Wingo know your move date, address and OTO number of the fiber optic outlet at least 14 days in advance. 

If no such socket is available, this must first be installed at your new place of residence. In this case, please inform Wingo at least 5 weeks before your move.

The Wingo Swiss cell phone plan includes unlimited monthly data volume for surfing in Switzerland. You can also send unlimited messages and make unlimited calls in Switzerland. The Wingo subscription has no minimum contract period and is available for CHF 58 per month.

Wingo Fair Flat

The Wingo Fair Flat subscription allows you to only pay for what you really need. The basic price is CHF 25.- per month, with 2 GB of data available within Switzerland or the EU/UK. You want to fly on vacation soon or have to go abroad on business? Wingo offers additional packages that allow you to surf and make calls abroad at low rates. 

Wingo Travel Data Option

With the Wingo Data Travel Option, you can buy additional roaming GB in the EU and other countries for one month. Depending on the country you want to travel to, the following data packages are available, which you can use for 30 days after activating the option: 100 MB, 500 MB, 1 GB or 3 GB. Once the data volume is used up, roaming is automatically blocked so that no further costs are incurred. You can find information about the prices in your country of choice in the Wingo roaming rates.

Wingo Voice Travel Option

If you don't want to miss out on calls and chats while traveling abroad, you can use the Wingo Voice Travel Option. With this option,  60 minutes of worldwide calls are included for CHF 16.90 per month.

Wingo international calls option

This option allows you to make unlimited calls to the EU/Western Europe, USA and Canada. The international call option costs CHF 20 per month and can be cancelled online on your Wingo customer portal at the end of each month with 30 days' notice.

Message Travel Option 

This option includes 100 SMS/MMS, which you can book for CHF 9.90 each. You can easily do this online. You must first select your travel country, but the option is then valid for 12 months from activation.

In addition to the numerous Mobile Wingo subscriptions with data volume and roaming options, Wingo offers Internet subscriptions with a fixed network connection at home as well as combination subscriptions that include Internet, TV and fixed network. The following is an overview of the Wingo Internet subscriptions.

Wingo Internet

You have two options for the Home Internet subscription at Wingo. If your home is connected to the fiber-optic network, you can surf via Swisscom's fast fiber-optic network. If this is not the case, Wingo also offers Internet via copper cable over the DSL network. In this case, Wingo installs the connection in your home free of charge if they have fiber optics available. With the Wingo Internet subscription, you also receive an Internet box. The type of box depends on the technology and speed available at your home. 

With Wingo, you get a fixed-network connection (Wingo Fix) free of charge with your Internet subscription. There are no further monthly costs. You have the option of having Wingo take over your existing phone number free of charge. The phone is simply plugged into the internet box and the fixed network connection is activated on myWingo. Phone calls are made via the Internet box, i.e. Voice over IP technology - also known as internet telephony - and not the usual telephone connection. With Wingo Fix, you make calls at Swiss rates: CHF 0.05/min to landlines, CHF 0.30/min to mobile networks. 

With internet subscriptions, you have a choice of three different Internet speeds: 

Internet Start

With the Internet Start subscription from Wingo, you can surf at home at speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s (upload and download speed). You can choose between fiber optic and DSL network. The subscription costs CHF 45 per month and has no minimum contract period. The activation fee is a one-time charge of CHF 90. 

Internet Plus

With the Wingo Internet Plus subscription, you can surf at home with an upload and download speed of up to 1 Gibt/s via fiber or DSL. The monthly subscription costs CHF 49. The activation fee is a one-time charge of CHF 90. 

Internet Max

For households with more intensive Internet use, Wingo Internet Max is ideal.

Thanks to the new fiber-optic technology, upload and download speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s are possible. The activation fee for the subscription is a one-time charge of CHF 120. You pay CHF 79 per month for the Wingo Internet Max subscription (no minimum contract period).

Wingo TV

You can optionally add a TV subscription to your Wingo Internet subscription. This gives you: 250 TV channels, 200 radio stations, 400 hours of recording memory, 7 days replay and 60 minutes live pause. There are no activation fees and no minimum contract period. Wingo gives you a TV box and an HDMI cable for this. If the one TV box is not enough, you get a second box for another device for an additional CHF 5.- per month and a one-time CHF 29. Wingo TV costs CHF 15.- per month.
